We cannot believe that two weeks have come and gone already!!! Along the way we believe God has been with us every step of the way.
We ended the second week with a futbol game instead of Bible Talk and we had a lot of our friends we've met so far come and play!! We also were able to have a lot of great studies during that time!! One of the girls we are studying with had a great break through in what it means to be a disciple. We are faithful that each of the people we share Gods word with will forever be impacted. We ended the day with a trip to a restaurant off campus and enjoyed a much needed relaxed afternoon. Even with the rain monsoon lol.
Today, Saturday, we were able to take a trip to the beach Curu!! The church here payed for us to have a personal van to take us to the beach and back!! We were soooo grateful for that fun time on the bus as a family. We had a beautiful ferry ride to an island and enjoyed a few hours on the beach with crabs, kermit crabs, deer, iguanas, snakes, monkeys, and A RACCOON!!! (There's a crazy story with that last one lol) It was incredible for us all!! We definitely made great memories today.
Please continue to pray for us!! We are hosting a campus led service at the church tomorrow!! They have asked the group to do a skit, share for communion, share about the swamp, and preach!! Jarvis is heading up the skit, Brie and Jacob are doing communion, Beth, Jacob, and Brie are doing a presentation for the swamp, and Jordan M is preaching!! Pray that God will use each of them to inspire the church and encourage them to keep growing as God brings in the harvest.
Jordan and I are in awe of the love and support you all have poured into us. Thank you for believing we were capable of serving in this capacity during this trip. We are honored and grateful beyond explanation. We are so excited to pass the torch to Jordan Z and Brie!! We know God will use them to do even more than we did!! Grateful for team work and for the vision of bringing the gospel message to all ends of the earth!! Ten degrees from the equator definitely counts!!
With much gratitude and love!!
